Adoption Activity:
Every year the mandal adopt
at least 20 students & does all the education expenses
required for the complete year.
Women
Empowerment:
Kasba Ganpati Mandal believes in empowerment
of women. Keeping the
thought in mind,
mandal every year celebrated ‘Women Day’ during
ganpati festival. On that day, all the activities i.e.
Puja, Aarti, holy abhishek etc. are looked after by the
female volunteers. Apart from that, mandal took competitions
to bring out hidden skills of women. Competitions like – Rangoli,
Recipes, Flower decoration, Ukhane competitions
etc. are arranged on that day. So, in this
way, right
from planning to execution, all the activities
are taken
care by them. Vividh Gundarshan:
Every
year, mandal takes different competitions for children
in
age group of 3 to 12.
In this, mandal conduct Drawing Competition, Singing
Competition,
Drama Competition, and Solo Dancing. At the same
time, mandal also conducts sports competitions like
Carom
Board, Chess competitions. All the winners are awarded
by dignitaries.
In this way, children’s enthusiasm becomes
high and children also learn qualities like stage
daring,
working in a team, conversational skills. Earthquake & Tsunami
Relief:
Kasba Ganpati Mandal,
was is & always be on forefront to help our brothers & sisters
who caught in Natural Calamities.
Mandal had given a donation of Rs.51,000 in cash & in kind during the Latur
earthquake which took place on 30th September 1993. Indians will never forget
Gujrat Earthquake. When all the Indians were celebrating Republic Day in 26th
January 2000 the earthquake hade havoc in Gujrat. We lost more than 10,000
Indians in that calamity. Mandal had sent a team of volunteers & cash donation
worth Rs.51,000. Volunteers stayed here for 15 days. The experience told by
them have made big marks on our minds, & we would feel that human
beings cannot surpass there mentor i.e. Nature.
Mandal did the same thing during Tsunami waves which took the costs of India
on a ride. Mandal donated 51,000 in cash to nourish the lives of southern brothers.
Keeping the social touch, mandal has adopted a village known as ‘Helwak’ in
Western Maharashtra. The village was immensely destroyed during the flood
which came last year. Mandal built many houses. Mandal donated Computers,
Sewing
machines and different equipments to villagers so that they can start
their earnings for living. The construction of school building is going
on with
pace.
Charity For Bhandarkar
Institute:
Some violent people in society destroyed
the Bhandarkar Institute in Pune
in 2005. They destroyed the well furnished library
which had the ancient books of Indian Philosophy and
Technology.
It was a serious issue for Bhandarkar Institute and
ultimately for Pune as a whole. Mandal had given donation
in cash
for rehabitalization.
Art of Living Courses:
Mandal has conducted the courses of Art of Living Foundation
for the citizens. More than
1,000 citizens have benefited by that courses. Art
of Living Foundation is a NGO founded by Shri Shri
Ravishankar.
They also teach the holy Sudershan Kriya during the
course which helps people to improve their life in
all the dimension.
Mandal is prompting art of living course throughout
Pune. It is really beneficial for the society. Healthy,
happy
and strong India can be achieved by such projects.
