Darode Jog Builders recently donated a Ganesh idol made up of 100% Silver weighing 21 kg on the occasion of Ganesh Jayanti on February 01, 2006. Darode Jog is among the prominent devotees of Shri Kasba Ganpati. This was a very memorable ceremony for Darode Jog family and Shri Kasba Ganpati Mandal.
The ceremony started with the procession of the Ganesh Idol from P. N. Gadgil, the goldsmith who carved the idol. The procession comprised of volunteers, family members of the Darode Jog. The procession took about one hour to reach Shri Kasba Ganpati Mandap where Darode Jog performed the Pranpratishtha of the silver Ganesh idol. Dajikaka Gadgil, partner of P. N. Gadgil & Co. and President of Saraf Association of Pune was present during the installation ceremonies and later inaugurated the Kasba Ganpati website. Various dignitaries were present on this occasion that made it special as well as memorable.
